Cirque Dreams’ Pop Goes The Rock Opens in Pittsburgh

The eye-popping stunts of Cirque Dreams takes on the world of pop music. Pop Goes The Rock begins performances in Pittsburgh on February 21. The musical spectacular will play at Heinz Hall through February 26.

From the creators of the Broadway hit Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy, Pop Goes The Rock packs all the visual excitement of a circus into a stage show. Taking place in a carnival funhouse, a cast of international performers presents acrobatic feats and dance moves to some of pop’s biggest hits of the last few decades. Backed by a live band, some of the hit songs include “Zoot Suit Riot,” “She Bangs,” “Apologize” and “Like A Prayer.” Over 100 elaborately costumed characters make Pop Goes The Rock a stunning blend of acrobatics and music.
