About the Show
Andrew Veenstra’s video chronicle of life on tour with War Horse continues in this second episode of the actor’s video blog. This week Veenstra dives into the music of War Horse. The play uses traditional English folk music to help create the atmosphere of Devon, England in 1914. Click below to see company member Nathan Koci riffing on the accordion, a trio of actresses giving a singing preview (with minty-fresh breath) and John Milosich signing some shaving tunes. War Horse opens at Pittsburgh's Benedum Center for the Performing Arts on November 13 and runs through November 18.
