About the Show

The national tour of 'Anything Goes' docks in Pittsburgh through April 21.

The national tour of Anything Goes begins performances in Pittsburgh on April 16. The Tony-winning production will play Heinz Hall through April 21. The show stars Rachel York as Reno Sweeney.

The 1934 musical comedy, which features the music of Cole Porter, tells the story of the passengers aboard the S.S. American, a luxury cruise ship. On the voyage, etiquette and convention head out the portholes as two unlikely pairs set off on the course to true love—proving that sometimes destiny needs a little help from a crew of singing sailors, an exotic disguise and some good old-fashioned blackmail.

This Tony-winning production for Best Musical Revival features high-seas hijinks as well as the famed songs “I Get A Kick Out of You,” “You’re The Top,” “Friendship,” and “De-Lovely.”

Anything Goes stars York as Reno Sweeney, Fred Applegate as Moonface Martin, Josh Franklin as Billy Crocker, Alex Finke as Hope Harcourt, Sandra Shipley as Mrs. Evangeline Harcourt and Edward Staudenmayer as Sir Evelyn Oakleigh. The production is directed and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall.
