Biography
Composer, lyricist and performer Lin-Manuel Miranda most recently played the title role in his smash hit Hamilton, for which he received 2016 Tony Awards for Best Book and Best Score. He burst out onto the Broadway scene with his Tony Award-winning show, In The Heights. In addition to writing this first rap-infused musical, he also took on the leading role of Usnavi. Miranda co-wrote music and lyrics for Bring It On: The Musical and starred in the Encores! productions of Merrily We Roll Along and tick, tick...BOOM!. He stars as Jack in Disney's Mary Poppins Returns.
